Der Scutt Architect designed and completed a fast track 4 story renovation of an 1890 townhouse.

Original details and flooring were preserved where possible with a clean palate of dark wood flooring, selected natural wood highlights and bright white baseboards and doors and moldings. Existing fireplaces were simply refinished to enhance the natural beauty of their 19th century detailing. A new eat-in kitchen was provided with a connecting pantry to an enlarged dining room. New bathrooms were designed to be crisp and timeless while simultaneously keeping with the character of the house.
