International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc.,
Household Products Center Hazlet, New Jersey

The plan configuration has a series of receding step forms with attached seismic frames having large circular forms. Within these framed spaces, landscaped gardens with flowering trees were created. The sculptural characteristics of the building’s concept will provide a unique and exciting image for IFF. The building has been clad almost entirely in glass.

The interior plan has a diagonal corridor with open skylighted wells positioned to provide an attractive interior ambiance. The architectural concept was dedicated to creating a building which will influence the creative efforts of the occupants.

The new structure is situated in the site plan so as to allow a mirror image building in the future to the east, with easy and direct access to the existing compounding building. A new central plaza was created linking the new facility with the existing building.
