1615 L Street NW Washington, DC
Der Scutt Architect is the design consultant for Spitzer Engineering, LLC on the renovation of 1615 L Street NW in Washington, DC, a 13 story office building.
DSA is removing the façade from the bottom three floors and replacing with a new low-E energy efficient curtain wall. The project includes a structural glass entrance, fritted glass and stainless steel canopy and Jet Mist granite pavers. The lobby design features new cherry wood paneling, ornamental glass and LED lighting.
1615 L Street is a unique office building due to its prime location near the White House and existing architectural features, including an interior atrium. DSA’s design complements the existing glass wall and interior finishes while modernizing the building for the future.
